Description
In a familiar movement, the sooty palomino mare draped the end of her growing forelock onto a branch. She glanced at a movement to her side, her light blue gaze falling upon a black panther. She rolled her eyes as Issantu glared at her disapprovingly.
"You cut your forelock too much."
The blade of air she had sent at the strands of hair flew off course suddenly, and was sent flying into the forest. She glowered at him. "What did you say, Issantu?" she asked, menace and threat underlying her tone. He rolled his eyes.
"Astyn, don't try to threaten me. You know that we share pain, and if you hurt me, you'll suffer more than I will," he said flatly. She rolled her eyes.
"Fine then. I won't cut it," she sighed, though she mentally made it clear to Issantu that she was going to be severely stubborn about this and prove him wrong about his initial statement. The sooty palomino mare glanced at the black panther as she heard him... chuckling. "What are you laughing at?" she asked, her eyes narrowed.
"Besides... long manes are... sexy."
Astyn's form shrunk rapidly as she shifted into her white lioness form, lunging at Issantu. She shoved her head under his chest and flipped him upward, and within moments she had her proxy pinned, her claws against his spasming chest as he laughed.
"Don't ever say that again," she said quietly, nose wrinkled and brow deeply furrowed in anger.
"Alright, alright, I won't, now get off of me," Issantu said, his eyes glowing with amusement. She grudgingly let him up, swiping at him as he moved away.
"Still totally worth it."
He ducked to avoid a flying set of air blades, and then moved into the forest, his laughter echoing.
Explains why her forelock is so long.
Decided that I wanted to do another Astyn manip! I absolutely adore working with orange/fiery tones, and yet a fire manip doesn't appeal to me at the least. XD
This isn't Astyn's forest. Too bright and happy. We'll pretend it's a more merry side of the planet, though, lol.
